After the long road of being supplier and distributor of reptile leather and finish goods to many brands worldwide, in 2013 Cardina were undertaken of its second generation. The second generation husband-and-wife duo Riza Assegaf and Farah Shahab founded Doris Dorothea with a mission to promote self-sufficiency and fair trade in Indonesia.

Doris Dorothea embraces traditional handmade techniques by Megatama Group. Our products are beautifully crafted by our in-house local artisans with exceptional attention to detail. We use only the best quality of exotic skins legally authorized by the convention on International Trades in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES)

With a mission to promote trade and source production in Indonesia, Doris Dorothea started it by entering the international market of Middle East & Europe. Doris Dorothea has attended various exhibitions & fashion shows and trunk shows. Doris Dorothea’s product became the most sought after exotic leather bag in the Middle East. Currently Doris Dorothea also works with many multi brand boutique and department store in Europe and Middle East.

Having a dream to grow bigger, Doris Dorothea is excited to join one of the biggest fashion events in the world, New York Fashion Week the first stage. In collaboration with five talented Indonesian fashion designers at NYFW, Doris Dorothea will be showing its latest collection, POLYMORPH. The Polymorph collection is inspired by everyday’ objects from geometric shapes. The collection includes different kinds of bags from casual to evening shapes.
